The Glorious GMMK Pro brought the custom-keyboard hobby to the mainstream by shipping a CNC-machined 1.6 kg aluminium 75% gasket-mount enthusiast board — fully assembled — at a price that finally undercut group buys. The gasket-mount construction isolates the plate from the case for a softer, more uniform typing feel, while the rotary encoder in the top-right corner handles volume, scrub or any QMK/VIA-mapped action. Hot-swappable 5-pin sockets, south-facing per-key RGB and double-shot ABS keycaps round out a board engineers can endlessly mod, but typists can use happily right out of the box.
