How it works

  1. Choose your amount from the denominations above.
  2. Personalise the gift card: add the recipient's name, a message and an optional design (birthday, congratulations, holidays, neutral).
  3. Schedule delivery instantly or up to 12 months in the future.
  4. Pay using any of our standard payment methods — except gift card balance.
  5. Recipient redeems the unique 16-character code at checkout. Multiple cards can be combined on a single order.

Validity

Gift cards are valid for 24 months from purchase, in line with applicable EU and national consumer-protection law (including Directive (EU) 2019/770 on the supply of digital content and digital services and the relevant national consumer codes). We extend the minimum validity to 5 years as a customer-friendly default. The expiry date is shown on the card and in your account.

Redemption rules

  • Redeemable on any product on emporiqa.com, in any of our 19 supported European languages
  • Can be used in part — remaining balance stays on the card until depleted
  • Can be combined with other gift cards and most promotional codes (excluded codes are clearly marked)
  • Cannot be used to purchase further gift cards

Refunds, transfers and lost cards

If you cancel an unredeemed gift card order within 14 days of purchase, we refund it in full to the original payment method — see our Refund Policy for the full timeline. Once a card has been opened or partially redeemed, it can no longer be refunded for cash, but the balance can be transferred to another email address on request. Lost or stolen digital codes can be re-issued for the unspent balance if you can verify the original purchase.

Checking your balance

Sign in to your Emporiqa account and open Gift cards, or visit emporiqa.com/giftcards/balance and enter your code. We will only ever show the remaining balance and last activity date — never the original recipient details.
