Sony WF-1000XM5

The Sony WF-1000XM5 is the fifth generation of Sony's flagship in-ear noise-cancelling earbud and the first to be built around the company's new Integrated Processor V2 paired with the HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN2e. Eight microphones, three per earbud feeding the noise-cancelling chain plus two beamforming voice mics, combined with a new 8.4 mm Dynamic Driver X deliver what is widely measured as the most effective in-ear ANC currently shipping. The earbuds are roughly 25 % smaller and 20 % lighter than the WF-1000XM4 and use a new urethane-foam ear-tip compound for a more reliable seal.
