Yamaha HS5 Studio Monitors

The Yamaha HS5 is the modern descendant of the legendary white-coned NS-10 nearfield monitor and is found in essentially every project studio worldwide. The signature 5" white woofer and 1" dome tweeter are driven by separate 45 W LF and 25 W HF amplifiers in a bi-amped configuration, with low-resonance MDF cabinetry and rear-port bass reflex tuned for an exceptionally honest, almost unforgiving response — exactly what a mix engineer wants from a reference monitor.
