The ASUS RT-AX86U Pro is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (AX5700) standalone gaming router driven by a Broadcom quad-core 2.0 GHz CPU, with a dedicated 2.5 Gigabit WAN/LAN port and ASUS's mature AiMesh ecosystem for adding additional nodes later. The Mobile Game Mode prioritises latency-sensitive packets to whichever phone you are gaming on, and the lifetime-included AiProtection Pro (powered by Trend Micro) provides commercial-grade IDS/IPS without subscription fees.
