SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD

The SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD V2 is a rugged, pocketable USB-C external drive built around an internal NVMe SSD and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 bridge controller. With sustained 1,050 MB/s read and 1,000 MB/s write, it is fast enough for direct 6K ProRes capture from cinema cameras and for editing 4K/8K timelines straight from the drive — and the silicone-bonded aluminium chassis is rated IP65 against dust and water plus a 2-metre drop spec.
