The same 45 mm large-aperture drivers and rare-earth magnets used in the wired ATH-M50x are paired with Bluetooth 5.0, an updated low-latency codec stack and Audio-Technica's Connect app for the first time. Unlike most consumer wireless headphones, the M50xBT2 keeps things flat and analytical, exactly what the original was designed for, and is one of the few wireless options professional engineers actually trust for casual mixing reference work.
